2026 Photo Contest and Fundraiser.

Calling all photographers! Whether you’re a seasoned pro, an aspiring amateur, or a young shutterbug, the Gunnison Wildlife Association (GWA) invites you to capture the beauty of our region’s wildlife and landscapes in our 2026 Photo Contest and fundraiser.

Categories & Entry Fees:

🔹 Professional – $50

🔹 Amateur – $30

🔹 Kids (14 & under) – $15

Your participation helps us raise funds which directly impacts the preservation of our local wildlife and public lands. With your help, we can continue our vital work, including habitat restoration, wildlife monitoring, and educational programs that protect Gunnison's unique ecosystems.

Prizes & Recognition:

• Winners take home 30% of their category’s total entry fees.

• 2nd & 3rd place winners receive additional prizes.

• Bragging rights and a feature in GWA promotions!

• Winning images may be printed on canvas and auctioned/raffled at future fundraising events, further supporting local conservation efforts.

Winner Notification:

All winners will be notified via email on or around December 15th, 2026. Be sure to check your inbox (and spam folder, just in case!). Winning entries will also be announced on our website and social media.

Usage Agreement:

By entering the Gunnison Wildlife Association Photo Contest, participants agree that if their photo is selected as a winner (1st, 2nd, or 3rd place), they grant GWA the non-exclusive right to use the image for promotional purposes, including the creation of a canvas print to be raffled or auctioned at a future fundraising event. All photo credits will be given where applicable.
