The Gunnison Wildlife Association is excited to announce the 4th Annual A Taste of the Wild, a beloved community fundraiser celebrating wildlife, conservation, and the unique flavors of the Gunnison Valley.

Local hunters, guides, and wild-game enthusiasts will prepare creative dishes featuring a variety of wild game, including elk, deer, rabbit, moose, and more. Guests will enjoy a one-of-a-kind tasting experience while supporting GWA’s mission to protect and enhance the health of our wildlife and public lands.
Want to Get Involved?
We are currently seeking:
Volunteer cooks interested in preparing a wild game dish
Donations of wild game meat of any kind
If you—or someone you know—would like to participate by cooking or donating meat, we would love to hear from you. Your support plays a key role in making this event possible.
